Crickett - 2008 Westminster Kennel Club Best of Opposite Sex

CH. Brenich I Wanna BA Pepper Too, RA CGC x J-K Jitta Bug
Bred by: Kay Sisson and Jill Kazimier

Crickett's first time in the ring at the tender age of 12 weeks old, she was awarded Best of Breed Puppy, Group One Puppy,
and Best in Match Puppy at the Northeastern Indiana Kennel Club All-Breed Puppy Match
over more than 100 other puppies under the late AKC Best in Show Approved Judge Mr. Landis "Lanny" Hirstein.
This was our first sign as to how special this little girl is!

Crickett finished her championship in 2007 with several Best of Breed wins over specials as well as a Group Two.
After a full year as a special, Crickett retired from the ring as a multiple group winner,
having also earned a specialty award of merit, and Best of Opposite Sex at the 2008 Westminster Kennel Club dog show,
expertly handled by Carlos J. Puig. Crickett finished 2008 as a Top 10 Pug* All-Systems (#6 All-Breed and #9 Breed)
with 46 Best of Breed wins, 4 Group Ones, 4 Group Twos, 6 Group Threes, and 8 Group Fours to her credit.

As a veteran, Crickett proved that some things just get better with age. She finished her Grand Champion title quickly,
largely from the veteran class with wins over specials half her age, and had several Veteran Group Ones to her credit.
From the veteran class, Crickett also earned multiple specialty accolades, including Select Bitch
at the 2013 Great Lakes Pug Club Specialty, the only bitch Award of Merit at the 2013 Pug Dog Club of America Regional Specialty,
and Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Veteran Sweepstakes at the 2013 Pug Dog Club of America National Specialty.

Crickett's 1st Group OnePDCA Regional Specialty Award of Merit from the Veteran Class, only bitch AOM
